Far Away Christmas is about being away from your family at Christmas time. Sung by the songwriters, Gilli Moon and Shelby Merchant, this song was written, recorded and mixed entirely virtually, during coronavirus pandemic quarantine, in the space of 1 week. The artists recorded their vocals and instruments in the comfort of each of their homes, and then Gilli co-produced with producer extraordinaire, Matt Thorne by sending him all the files to his home studio in Burbank where he edited, recorded more elements and mixed. Topping it off by mastering by Bryce Graven Mastering in San Francisco. Gilli has released this on her independent record label, Warrior Girl Music.
